Det første vi gjorde var å rive gulvet fordi vi skulle ha vannrør i gulvet. Vi forsterket gulv åsene og fylte hele flata med sand etter at vi hadde lagt rør til dusj vask og wc. Deretter la vi 20 cm isopor og rør for vannbåren varme, før vi støpte nytt gulv. Sandmassen ble trillet inn trappa og gjennom gangen og det var ganske mange trillebårlass før vi kunne støype selve gulvet.

Friday, October 21, 2016. Our Movie Themed Basement Make Over. I know I have been MIA from the blogosphere for a long time. I have been settled since my boys are back in school and my daughter is off to college. It seems as though my preoccupation with other things have kept me busy. I found one poster online from the movie Red Tails. My husband attended Tuskegee, so I thought having a poster about the Tuskegee airmen would be something he would like. The other poster is from the latest Star Wars.

Why we are giving up suburbia for the unknown. Four years ago, at the ripe age of 23, I became a homeowner. I never lived on my own or even rented an apartment. I went from living at home, to living in a dorm with a roommate, to living at home, to owning a home. I was happy to skip what I considered an unnecessary step and jump feet first into home ownership. Nevermind that he did the same with no complaints. Oh the humanity! A year of second guessing and I-cant-wait-unt.
