When I started this blog back in 2014, it was mainly because of my love for crochet. I enjoyed finding patterns to share with my fellow crafties, and it was one of the joys of my week to post here with my new findings. To tell the truth, I miss blogging.

March 11, 2012. I was sitting in class one day last week taking some notes when one of my little girls said, Ms. Elliot, are you a princess? I smiled, No, sweetheart, Im not. I looked up at her. She frowned and seemed a little deflated. 8220;Oh. she said. Then added quickly, Why arent you a princess? 8220;Why am I not a princess? 8221; I smiled. She clapped her hands together and smiled. Ich bin dankbar, dass ich diese erleben durfte. Doch das Leben besteht nicht nur aus Highlights, sondern auch aus den ganz normalen Tagen dazwischen. Und die waren auch schön.
Was in class today and finally decided I had enough energy to get closer to dem mountains, and it was shaping up to be a gorgeous day. It was a short trip to the ocean but a long one around the shoreline. The closest I could get was a harbor in the cove, but before it was a little beach. It was nice to be out of the city for the first time in 12 days. A short rest for a smoke on the grassy coast, and then a 9km walk home. A comment on youtube by. was a very female sea.

Monday, January 27, 2014. Jaz sem pred 30 leti kresnila z motorjem. Pobrala sem se iz tal, rekla navzočim, da sem v redu, le da imam malo čuden občutek v roki, vsedla spet na motor in se odpeljala. Da sem imela krvavo majico zadaj itak nisem opazila. Luknjičaste kože pa še manj. Hitro do prvega soseda, da me je odpeljal v bolnico. In ker je bil čas poletja, sem si privoščila tudi plavanje. Kako? Snela sem oprtnik, odplavala, in ga dala nazaj na svoje mesto. Nič Ima pa upornica v meni.
