Over the past few months I have found and been given a few pieces of furniture. Almost all of them looked rather sad, outdated, and some even broken. My most awesome hubby fixed a few broken pieces, and I painted them. Now we have some nice useable furniture ready to sell! The first piece is an end table that had a fairly nice top on it. The legs were yuck, so they were given a new lease on life with a fresh coat of antique white paint and glaze. It took forever to tape off the round legs.

A remembrance of moments past. We sail through life with dreams and hopes clutched in our hands and pressed close to our hearts with nothing but the certainty of the now and the changing winds of time. However, as we journey on and see endless horizons of what is seemingly the same, we tend to forget those rare precious moments where we truly felt alive.
