All fine timepieces require routine maintenance and servicing. The oils used for lubrication inside the movement have a life expectancy of only 3 to 4 years. Once the oil has begun to break down, moving parts succumb to the effects of friction and can cause key parts to wear down, aging prematurely and affecting the accuracy of the watch. If your mechanical watch is running more than 2 to 3 minutes fast or slow it may be time for an overhaul.

Tuesday, February 20, 2007. Wow - so i was doing laundry late last night and as I went off to put my clothes in the drier, one of my neighbors came out of the laundry room, having just started his clothes a-washing. We exchanged casual greetings and went our separate ways. Then I entered the laundry room. Had been in a room up to 45 minutes later. They were a hugging, kissing people. Which meant that from the first hello, I gave up trying to smell like a girl forever.
