I am a senior lecturer in History at the University of Hertfordshire. My research focuses on gender, the body and medicine in early modern England. In particular I am interested in issues to do with the health, sex and reproduction. More broadly my research touches upon ideas of marriage, the family and medical practitioners. Countdown to NYCDH Week! DHWeek is a celebration of the Digital Humanities in New York City and features networking sessions, a DH community meeting, open workshops offered across the city, and social events. This year DHWeek will be held from February 6-10. And we are excited to offer another amazing year of workshops and talks for all skill levels.
