Thursday, March 14, 2013. Monday, February 18, 2013. My husband and I have a few shows we like to watch. Lately we have been getting into a show on the Discovery channel called Gold Rush. The show follows 3 different mining operations in Alaska. It is interesting to watch as they encounter a variety of problems in their mining quest. My young fellow-adventurer, Hannah, and I enjoyed the good transportation system in the city of Istanbul. The first picture was taken from the bus and reveals the beauty of the city. This scene reveals the beauty and care taken of Istanbul. After reaching Taksim Square, its a short rail and tram ride to Sultanahmet, Topkapi Palace, and The Grand Bazaar.
