The fireball was shown pushing between the tower and the Pentagon wall. The pictures here show that there were 2 trees and a fire truck in the way of that fireball. The fireball would have to have been hundereds of feet long to even reach the tower. The fire truck which was in the way, seemed to be operating well and moving around the yard.
