Friday, 8 February 2013. I managed to pop out this week with the main aim to photograph Herons returning to their nest with material, these birds begin nesting early in the year and as I arrived on site I realised that most of the nests were pretty much constructed. The nests are re-used each year so any collection of material is mostly just a way to strengthen them reading for eggs to be laid. Saturday, 22 December 2012.
