This course has left me over-stressed, over-worked, and over-arched above my computer. But, I have learned a great deal and am now more than comfortable using blogs. I think the keyword for this class would have to be. This lesson is a great idea to exp.

I found a Lesson Plan on readwritethink. The multigenre paper is a great substitute for the average research paper! What are some of the genres that you would expect from your students? Overall, I found this class to be useful in its approach to getting us THINKING about. To boil down my experience with this course, I really benefited from getting the ideas, materials, and articles dealing with literacy and what that means in 2010. However, I felt that I could have benefited more from some more real-world application of those. cfm? This lesson is geared toward 12th-graders who are getting ready to read.

So I am not going to be as harsh as Kyle in my evaluation, but I think he has some valid points. Overall, I feel that this course was highly relevant. I cannot say that I will continue to use this blog, but I can say with confidence that I will utilize a blog when I am in the classroom. I plan on incorporating into my teaching webpage, which I am currently making for CI3100. The blog will help me to keep my students up to date with their classes, and also to connect to other educators.

The materials are endless and there are always more to be found, I look forward to furthering my website hunt with new ideas and lessons.
