Winning Videos Created by Wasagasse Gymnasium Students. When the students of the Wasagasse Gymnasium arrived for their study abroad experience in California, we challenged them to produce a video that showed the trip from their perspective. We received a wide range of submissions, from silly to serious, and picked our favorite three as winners. Alice and Florian with their prize certificates. I noticed that the web site stated " So today was the last day of courses in Salamanca and we are getting ready to move on to the immersion week in San Lorenzo de el Escorial on Sunday." We started at the Prado museum. Our guide was fantastic and showed us a selection of masterpieces that kept even the tiredest of tourists plugged in. Christina is now wondering if she is related to the master painter Hieronymus Bosch. On our way to Madrid.
Last Sunday we all got a kyaking lesson. Then we kyaked from the port over to Santa Clara island. We rested a bit, got out and swam, then returned, ready for a hearty lunch! American Idol in Spain. Happy birthday to Matt! July 19, 2010.
