Thursday, January 26, 2012. Well, this is Katie here and I have successfully managed to put off writing on this blog until now, but I actually was in Ecuador this past month. Surprise! And on top of that haveing to do all of their laundry by hand! Thank you for praying for us this month and as we have been preparing. After about 25 hours of travelling yesterday we made it home to Camrose! Monday, January 23, 2012. Missionary Kids, Machetes and Ice Cream. Today we traveled to Mindo, and went ZIP-LINING! .

Saturday, July 12, 2014. Three posts in one day- yay! After we finished talking, we were able to purchase small gifts at the market. Everything we bought was made by the patients, and the proceeds go directly back to them to use as they wish. We then ate our last meal at Damien House, and then took part in a despedida, otherwise known as a farewell party. We were all able to say goodbye to all of our new friends, and thank them for their warmth and hospitality. We have had a number of great days during t.
