They also stated " Recently, I have been thinking about bad travel blogs, which generally describe the ordinary in extraordinary detail, make a list of some places they have been, and are often casually condescending or rude about other peoples countries. Laziness aside, the infrequency of my updates is intentional as a rule I try to only write when I have something interesting or maniacal to write about. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. OK I usually just post photos and add a witty or sarcastic comment in here because my writing skills leave a lot to be desired. Luckily my sons are not similarly afflicted. This is a paper my son Chris age 12 wrote for school. The earthen scar seemed to stretch forever in my young, unknowing eyes. The layers of history showing ages of pressure and erosion was stacked forever. Worth the effort of man to protect this national symbol of exploration.
