January 29th, 2014, I was formally invited to serve as a TEFL educator with the Peace Corps in Benin--a tiny West African country, barely even noticed in the 21st century American consciousness. Feverishly searching the internet for additional information on the country, by the next morning more than a little panicked, and slightly hung-over fromPARSED CONTENT
The site had the following in the homepage, "Language, Cultural, and Daily Observations from the Field." I noticed that the web site stated " It is with this in mind that I hope to report on some of the fantastic linguistic facets I observe, and on the cultural contexts that helped forge them from the deep roots of the mind from whence they first arose."
