Friday, Dec 3 2010. The challenge proposed to studio this year dealt with an urban design located in historic downtown Philadelphia. The site is located at the intersection of Culbert and Filbert, running parallel to Third Street. The building sits on a longitudinal axis facing roughly Northwest to Southwest with direct light penetrating the façade between 10pm and 2pm throughout the year.
