I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become. We make both conscious and unconscious decisions every minute of every day leading to positive and negatives outcomes, shaped by knowledge, experience and emotions. I have been guilty of making very rash decisions based upon my emotions with mixed results. Having to make these decisions is not a process that I find easy nor is it a process that happens quickly.

Teaching the Unteachable. 8220;School is not my thing. New year, new students. With a new year upon us, I felt inspired to write about meeting my students for the first time. Its a pretty daunting and unpredictable time for all teachers and many of you will also be meeting traumatised students who may have attachment disorders.
