Sunday, January 06, 2013. The Dream of the 90s is Alive in Portland. Despite my disappointment with Portland, it did have some amazing highlights. I also found a tasty lunch at the nearby Food Carts. I had my moment of zen in the Japanese Gardens. I took the tour which I highly recommend. I felt so peaceful there and the tour explained the design of the garden. The lily pads were in bloom when I was there. I missed the other blooming plants by a few weeks.
