School of Fear Book Report. Our trip to the Municipal Office. Today our class went to the Red Lake Municipal Office. I was a very awesome way to spend out Middle Block! Right now our Social Studies unit is on Government. To start off our unit our teacher decided we would go to the Municipal Office to learn more. They told us many great things about Government in general and our own Municipal office.
I think there are many issues in our community that need more attention like the roads, wild animals and fixing up the parks. I think these book is good so far. I learnt that there are only 444 municipalities in Ontario. Different mayors get paid different wages.

All things Cato and Clove. Today my class and I along with the Grade traveled by bus into the bush for a forestry adventure! I just want to give a big thanks to Robert and his team for spending half the day with us. Thank You! On Monday my class and I traveled to Camp Stephens. Once we finished up planting trees we ate some snacks and switched with the other group. Mr Partridge talked to us about the forest and the lumber industry. We got to see frogs and how they count how old a tree is. One cool fact is that the creek beside where they where logging is where the walleye spawn in Red Lake. The lesson was about Hitler his killing spree of millions of Jews killed in concentration camps, Heros, Residential schools, Internme.
