A team of epidemiologists and support staff based at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto, monitoring the Ontario HIV epidemic under a mandate from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care. In addition to the surveillance reports, the Unit also produces from time to time special situation reports focusing on specific populations affected by the epidemic in response to evolving situations. The Unit also undertakes original research, usually using available data.
