This portfolio is a webpage containing samples of my work from my undergraduate degree in English from Penn State and abroad. Also, included is a link to my final thesis for my masters degree in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. My name is Ginnelle Sroka and I am currently an 8th grade writing teacher at Foundation Academy Charter School. Following a two year commitment with Teach for America, I am finishing my third year of teaching in Trenton, NJ.

My first year here at Penn State was more than I could have asked for. I have become friends with great people and I have taken many great classes. As this year comes to a close, and I reflect on the classes that I have taken, I have found a commonality between them all. These classes have all truly expanded my knowledge and made me think about things on a deeper level.
