The site had the following in the homepage, "From the library and mind of an aspiring librarian." I noticed that the web site stated " So this is it, the last week! Looking back, Im amazed at all that this class has done weve created our own screencasts, weve hosted one-shot workshops, and we hosted our own webinars as well." They also stated " Thats really something to be proud of, my fellow 643-ers! All of those activities will prove useful in our future careers, whatever they may be, Im sure. It was nice working with you all."ANALYZE MORE BUSINESSES
This idea is definitely one that can help kids get a taste of programming as well as help them get comfortable with creating items on the Internet to show others, the beginnings of a professional profile.
North Carolina sounds like the place to be for innovation in libraries. Is for me at least, on the cutting edge of how to use the physical library space for the benefit of teaching and learning. Has literally written the book.
