For nearly 50 years, I have been making things mostly with a needle and thread in my hand or my foot on the sewing machine pedal! I am a firm believer in keeping memories alive so in my sewing and quilting creations, I always want to make them with a memory or a reason. I try to bring the past into the present or give a memory to take to the future. Either way, my heart is in everything I create, with hopes of sharing cherished memories of the past or creating treasured memories for the future.

I read a book yesterday that had me both shaking my head and realizing that pretty much anyone can pen a book. Hmmm, maybe I should start a list.

Monday, January 19, 2015. The move we recently made to Tulsa has somewhat stalled my winter hydroponic plans. During the summer I dreamed of having delicious tomatoes all winter long. I worked really hard to get my solutions right in preparation for my winter tomatoes. Wednesday, June 25, 2014.
