I noticed that the web site stated " Yesterday, Year 2 explorers and their proud families attended a graduation ceremony." Year 2 trip to QMC. On Thursday 8th January 2015, Year 2 went to QMC to study plants. We went on a trail outside to explore how plants survive in winter. We dissected a bud to see the different layers that make it up and protect it from the weather. We saw how evergreen leaves are thick and waxy to help them survive the winter. We examined seeds under the microscope. We planted our own seeds in soil ready to grow in the spring.

The walk around the school! October 6, 2015. 8221; Last but not least they had a list of things to spot. One thing was a house that was as old as our school. On Tuesday 3rd of February FS children found snow in their playground for the first time. They went and explored, They talked about how the snow melts and winter.
