Sunday, February 3, 2013. I woke up this morning with a heart full of gratitude for the many blessings in my life. Two of my biggest blessings come in the form of two small children - I look at them every day and wonder at the sweet gift that each of their individual personalities bring to my life. Miss A has a beautiful soul. She is sweet and considerate. She definitely has inherited the Mommy-gene, and she takes care of her baby brother so lovingly! Thursday, January 31, 2013. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. The Virginia Creeper Trail is an old railway now purposed into a bike trail through the mountains of Virginia. From the top of mountain, and I use that term loosely since mountains are more like hills around these parts, it is a seventeen mile coast down to the bottom. We headed up to Virginia Friday morning with our friends the Starks. We anticipated a leisurely ride, enjoying the scenery, and stopping for picnics and play. Hah! We loaded up and began our decent.
