Back in May when I first started this blog, I experimented with painting a warp with acrylic and promised to share here. So today I would like to show you the process and results of my experiment. I painted several sections with different techniques. This is just one technique I tried. I inserted cardboard strips into the warp with a plain weave.
I dont know about anyone else, but miserable is definitely the best way to describe the weather here today. Yucky, is also a good adjective. Its dark and rainy, and just horrid, and we considered taking the little people for a walk in the woods but we simply couldnt work up the enthusiasm. We went for hot chocolates all-round and cuddled up on the sofa to watch The Lorax instead. Perhaps not the thrill of the ce.

I was selected as a finalist in a competition on Shopbevel where if I win my earrings will be worn by Troian Bellsario on the TV show Pretty Little Liars. The only thing standing in my way is votes.
