New gardens to make and trails to explore. Sunday, February 25, 2018. Waiting two weeks for a walk . In most places on this planet going for a walk along the shore does not require one to wait two weeks before setting out; but that is not the case if you are planning on walking along the shore of the magnificent Bay of Fundy. I wanted to go walking along the shore at Blomidon Provincial Park.
It cleared up early this afternoon, after raining all day yesterday and all night last night, so I went for a walk around Buttonwood Park, which. Fails to have wondrous things to see and photograph.

Life in a Beach Town. The Squirrel and the Chickens. The chickens have been making too much noise in the mornings. I now let them out of their run as soon as I climb out of bed and have my first cup of piping hot coffee.
The Russians are coming! I know it has been said a trillion, million times, but gardening really is a wonderful tonic. I was feeling a little down today, and so finally I took myself outside and started to water part of the garden. This led to watering the vegetable patch, which led to cleaning out some bok choy that had raced away to seed. Black tomatoes are known for their strong, earthy tomato flavor, which often has a slight saltiness. Black tomatoes have a very dark skin.

Monday, June 23, 2014. One of the Messiest Jobs There Is. Need I say more? Since this is in the bathroom, we are using greenboard. Greenboard is for applications in wet areas. Its a heavier than regular wallboard. It IS just as messy though. Now, to go and pick out colors.
