Recreating History

The Shadow of My Hand

Flower print jacket and a take on 18th century styling. The jacket is a modified version of my earlier black swallowtail jacket. I made the petticoat this week too. I might embroider the hem later. I changed the shape of the hem for this one, making it round rather than pointy. The fabric is the same Ikea bed sheet I used for my flowery anglaise. I still have heaps of it left. Party version of the anglaise. Posing on the old we.

Beauty From Ashes

To all who mourn in Israel, He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Underskirt Completed! Step one in the Grape Soda dress is finished!
