I was born and raised in Regina Saskatchewan - the fourth of six children and the eldest of the daughters. My musical interest began as a youngster playing the spoons along side my dad who was a self taught accordian player. It expanded to an interest in the church choir and then to playing the flute in the school band. As the years progressed, and with the help of my brother Garth, I learned to play the 12 string accoustical guitar. Last October, I joined up with two other songwriters, Eileen Wotschell .
