Being a dad, for me. It is congenital, afflicting both my big sister and me. Yes, my big sister, the physician, has a horrendous gag reflex. There are some pretty good stories there, but I will save them for another time. Indeed, my youngest son has it too, so clearly it is inherited. Its powerful, predictable and wholly uncontrollable.

I expect this blog to share laughter, as well as piss people off.
