Real World Product Reviews For Avid Cyclists. Derby the Wonder Dog! It has been eight months since I last posted anything on this blog. As I explained at the time, our oldest son was seriously ill and could not be left alone, so I did what any parent would do I gave up cycling, blogging and a lot of other things to make sure that either my wife or I could be with our son at all times. Derby is such a wonderful companion and faithful friend that we now feel comforta.

Bristol South Road Race 2018. I had never been in a road race before. The race was Category 3 and 4, therefore the field was likely to contain a lot of better and more experienced riders. The race was on Mothers Day so asking my wife to look after the kids would mean spending all of the credit in my cycling brownie points account.
