A story of honour and ouzo. An English garden in spring. I have been around the world and been to so many places that have really stirred the soul. Now that the jet-lag is gone and the first few days chores are done, I can write about more of them.

The site had the following in the homepage, "A journey through South America." I noticed that the web site stated " After traveling for almost eight months in South America, yes, it has taken us a long time to write the last few blog posts! We headed back home to make arrangements for new adventures." They also stated " It certainly wont let you down! Posted with fond memories. The view from my hotel rooftop. Monday, March 19, 2012. A US colonel visits an Afghan Local Police outpost in Charkusa, Afghanistan, a sort of model village in Kandahar province where Taliban activity has been pushed out to a large degree. Not pictured, the intense smell of hashish emanating from a room full of police officers. Just down the road, a different crew of police officers prepared to burn 300 pounds of hash. Sunday, March 18, 2012. Against my better judgment .
Time to get back to work. I was a bit exhausted when I got to Prague; the heat .
Guangxi Mountains Near Bama II. Took another trip to Nanning and then into the mountains near BaMa, known for the water that makes you live longer. who knew? This trip was really unlike last time. Because it was so overcast. I enjoyed the new conditions because I felt the feel of the places changed and so the photos did too. Thanks again Em for taking me to these awesome places.
