The site had the following in the homepage, "Ive found it a little bit hard to believe that the vikings should have used only wool and flax as a source of fiber for making sails, clothes etc." I noticed that the web site stated " Flax and hemp fibers deteriorate over time and is probably one reason for being harder to trace the use of." They also stated " This article shows some interesting finds on this subject. 8220;You cant keep a great old schooner down! Sunday, December 2, 2007. The last FOCSL meeting was extremely productive and no doubt our secretary Jan will be working on the minutes and sending them to you in due course! At Trader Dukes was a great success and a good time was had by all 17 of us. We did take up quite a bit of room and may have added to the noise of celebrating diners! Thanks to all who attended. Will be enjoyed by us all! We are calling for volunteers.
