My highlight of the summer was coordinating with the Sawtooth Society by bringing 9 teens to Stanley, ID for a 4 day service project and camping experience. We learned about and pulled a ton of invasive weeds along side Forest Service workers. We filled over 40 barrel-sized bags of Spotted Knapweed! On the way back from the mountains, when we stopped for lunch, the group unloaded from the van, and one kid immediately spotted a patch of knapweed and immediately started pulling it up!
