In the kitagawa block print has a man and a women getting intamate toghether in what looks like an outdoor area and the akio takamori bowl has a black male figure holding a white female figure and they look as though they are getting intamate. It looks like shes wearing something on her head or shes got really long hair. Im not sure but she might be pregnant. The colors are the same for the scuplture and the backround. She must have been a wealthy women because she looks like she was fed well. Demi Moore the photo on the right. Manet painting on the left.
This is a Kitagawa block print called. These works of art present two couples in intimate positions. However the print shows a more physical intimacy while the sculpture shows a more caring and loving couple. These pieces of art show that pregnancy is beautiful and is nothing to be ashamed of or hide.
IN THIS SCULPTURE IT IS MADE UP OF STONE. IT MAY HAVE HAD TO BE CHISELED BY TOOLS TO GIVE THE DISTINC EFECTS AS THE LIGHT THAT IS SHINING FROM THE RIGHT TO ME EMPHISIS THE SCULPTURE CASUE IT LETS YOU SEE CERTAIN PART OF THE ARTIFACTS CLEARLY. ON WHAT APPEARS TO BE THE HAT IT DOES HAVE A CERTAIN KIND OF RIDGED DESIGN. In this highly cromatic photo.
Unlike the sculpture above i can see a more realistic relationship in this painting. I guess you can say that because it looks more real and can be related to us. When I see this picture I can see a relationship more then friends because there there holding hands. Besides this point I like this more then the other and it seems to be more catchy to see then the other.
In the Koons picture it looks as if the man is representing a king or a person of higher status, just by the way the women are all surrounding him. You also notice how one women is sitting on the ground with a pony and the other is standing next to Koons. Both women are wearing bathing suits while Koons is wearing a suit.

The Kitigawa is a very busy painting. But the Focal point comes somewhere near the black and white near the center of the photo. There are several shades of black, red, gray through out the painting. The blacks and reds really contrast the grays and whites bringing a balance to the piece. This one the medium in clay, pottery. There is a stark contrast between the tan and black.
