Rood fruitig slaatje met aardbei. Momenteel kunnen we volop genieten van super lekkere aardbeien! Omdat ze zo lekker zijn houd ik ze graag zo puur mogelijk. Ofwel gewoon zo uit het vuistje of in een eenvoudige slaatje zoals dit, met wat balsamicodressing als extra smaakmaker. Gentse Feesten voor foodies! Morgen begint het leukste festival van het land en dat ook nog eens in de gezelligste stad van het land! Uiteraard heb ik het over de Gentse Feesten.

Cooking and creating for every day life. It has been far too long since I wrote on this blog. However, I do have some great pictures to share of the veggies that have come from the Hyland household. Here is a picture of some of the tomatoes and green peppers I picked a few days ago! It has been a lot of fun cooking with my own produce and not having to run to the grocery store because I forgot a veggie I needed for a recipe.

How are you all? I have had the mostt hectic week, so this weekend I will sleep late, and enjoy the nice weather! So, here on the East Coast, the weather tends to get more erratic with each passing year, so thankfully there has been very little rain.
