In the canine world, hot spots are an all too common condition consisting of open sores that are constantly being bitten, scratched, or chewed. Also called Acute Moist Dermatitis, these painful skin lesions can develop at any time of the year, but they are more common in the warmer months. Clip away hair to expose the hot spot.

Adventures in Fostering TSA Puppy Paz. Our family has set off on a new adventure this year! Instead of a typical summer vacation, we decided to begin fostering a Transportation Security Administration puppy! We will foster our puppy for almost a year, at which time it will join the National Explosives Canine Detection Team Program at Lackland Air Force Base.
