Saturday, 15 August 2015. Top of my wish list last winter were curtains for the big french window in the living room. The windows might frame a beautiful garden view on a nice day, but come those dark winter nights youre stuck with cold pouring through the cracks, huge oppressive black panels and horrible glare back from the lights. We needed a huge pair of eye pleasing, insulating curtains to shut out the night and soften the room.

The site had the following in the homepage, "Making stuff and writing about it." I noticed that the web site stated " Today I have the joy of sharing a completed project with you." They also stated " It always feels like a victorious moment when I cut off that last, lingering yarn end and lay down the scissors. As a person terminally rubbish at finishing things it feels like I have fought a battle with my own inefficiency and won usually resulting in me parading around the house with whatever i have finished being worn on my head. A land of magic and mystery. This evening I have found the benefit of being kept awake for the early hours of the morning. Of plodding on with my busy day and pushing myself further than I have for what has probably been more than a decade. My wildchild has fallen asleep at a peaceful hour. My mat is a place of powerful magic. Those that stand near me on their own mats carry an even greater magic. One day I can hope to be as good as they are.

We have lived in BC now for 1 year. We are still acting as though we are tourists. a good way to appreciate everything! Wednesday, January 24. so sorry- I have had too much going on here. Its beeen a busy one- kids are great.
