I noticed that the web site stated " Japanese Knotweed is an aggressive, invasive plant imported to North America the late 19th century." They also stated " Its stalks resemble bamboo but are much softer and can easily be cut or broken with a weed whip. Its leaves are pinnate, which means they are longer than they are wide, and the plant can easily grow ten feet tall. Knotweed is very difficult to get rid of. Saturday October 25, 2009. The children as well as the adults in the community came out and participated. A great time was had by all! Audrey welcomed the crowd. The kids enjoyed face painting. There was plenty of food.
