I was actually pretty nervous about this class at the beginning of the semester. I guess it was basically the first time that I had ever taken a public relations class that was going to teach me the tools I needed to make a living one day. So what have I learned in this class? I had never used Twitter before. I had not blogged since about 8th grade. Now I am doing both.

One of the most effective PR and Marketing tools to engage your audiences is through blog writing. An organizational web blog plays a significant role in your organization. It is a venue that lets visitors give feedback and generates awareness and possibly even sales from potential clients.

APR Writing, or public relations writing, has been a very beneficial class. I have taken more out of this class than any other class I have taken in college thus far. Overall, I had a great time taking this class. I have learned a great deal about public relations, writing techniques, leadership skills, professional etiquette and basically everything that is necessary to make it in the professional world.
