The site had the following in the homepage, "A Swedes journey through the Northern Japanese Alps." I noticed that the web site stated " Hiking the Northern Japanese Alps." They also stated " For guidance I used Lonely Planets. And the maps it recommended; Shobunsha Yama-to-Kogens no 36 and 37. I bought the maps in a larger MontBell store close to Shinjuku station in Tokyo. MontBell appears to be the major hiking brand in Japan and in my experience a store is never far away in Tokyo and Kyoto. It has been 15 years that I have shared my life with such a wonderful soul, and it looks like it is coming to an end. We went a little out of our city and drove to Seal Beach Shelter, a very small establishment. There were only two rows of kennels filled with dogs, maybe a total of 20 dogs. If I had the room and money I would have adopted all of them.
