Gardening Gone Bad

Oh boy. been a LONG time. August 23, 2011. Yes, I have been gardening but no I have obviously not been blogging. So I guess I should get back into it. Have I been growing anything. You know it! Zukes, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Tom lots and lots of them, Peppers lots and lots of them, CORN, and a few others. The Toms came in nice this year. I have had over 50 nice red and ripe ones. Weird since it has been hell trying to make them turn the last few years. I have a few ears again! And they look great!

Saving seeds is an extremely easy thing to do once you know how. To me, peppers are the easiest. Simply cut the pepper open, scrape the seeds onto a plate or the counter, rinse them and lay them out on wax paper! At this point, I simply lift the mold off and drop it into the garbage disposal. Pour the remaining seeds and .

Even though we only got one, it tops last years biggest by 6 pounds. The garden is finally going good, after what seems like an eternity of wondering if the sun and heat would ever show in 2010. Besides everything being about 30 days behind, and almost have reconciled that the pepper yields will be nil, everything is going great.

I hate when stuff changes. I have been sick with some weird head cold. That is going into my chest and really busy with school. I should be typing up a 7 page report on Edith Kermit Roosevelt. I did get my new feather weight. In and it works! I have it at the sewing machine. And I am not impressed with the new updates on word press. Maybe I am just getting old.
