Dogs, donkeys, a goat and life on our farm. Posted by Morning Bray under Dogs. We adopted Vivien on December 5. When I saw her photo on the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA. Website, it was love at first sight. Her name then was Pretty Girl, and I was smitten. She came to Charlottesville through the Best Friends Animal Society from a shelter in Houston established for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

Labour, Literature, and Listening. I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year. It was another day of shearing, this time for Scarfie Shearing. A little contracting business I have. Not only do I shear sheep on the family farm, but very occasionally I shear sheep for money. Mostly operates on the coast at a place called Waitati and inland on the Taieri Plain. The place I was working at this day has an old woolshed and had about 250 sheep to shear; ewes and lambs.
