So the homesickness has set in. I made it to Pompeii and am now settled in to my tent, and home, for the next four weeks.
What seemed impossible is now possible. It was about 3 weeks ago when I did one of my first backflips unassisted. It was a euphoric and enlightening moment, as if something switched on in the neurons in my body telling me that this movement and capacity had always been there, just waiting patiently for it to be unleashed.
