I thought that a walking foot might be easier, but I was told that I had to do it with a darning foot! Actually, of course, my wife was correct; wrangling the queen size quilt has been my biggest challenge so far with the quilting.

Welcome back, hobbyists and crafters! How are you this hot, sticky August day? My mom and I got together and talked about life and gray hair and quilting. Do I put my blocks together randomly? Pixie Baskets, Mini Candlemats, Oh My! Lorieast2 on WIP Week. I have a passion for quilting and also enjoy playing zentangles and mixed media. I like to read and listen to music. I live contentedly with my family and our cat in a cozy little house.

For me, that post was a part of my growing process. A rock bottom if you will. A symbol of my turning point out of the victim-consciousness that had me firmly in its grip. I feel I have come a long way since then so that is what I would like to share today.
