Using the smartboard, the students read two or three examples of endings of stories. They either raised their thumbs up or thumbs down depending on the choice they think is best on the ending of the story. I try to help the students.

Ahhh today was my last day at Glen Alpine Elementary! This semester has flown by! First and foremost, I am so happy that I had such a wonderful experience at Glen Alpine over the past few weeks, I have learned many things through assessments and working one-on-one with teachers that I can carry on with me through my career. My Block I experience has been great and I have learned so many wonderful things! April 15, 2010.

I read a book aloud to a few students. It was an awesome experience. It felt good to be a part of their reading experience. It was also interesting to watch as they predicted what would happen. I did stop and ask questions like we learned to do in class. It felt great to apply the classroom activities to my internship.
