Birding, Butterflies and Wild Flowers. Were seen on Lime Kiln Road this evening. A Walk up Ellerburn this afternoon was quiet with very few bird species around. Best of an average bunch was 4. So it was great to see one today. Gatekeeper Butterfly seen near York which is at its Northern Most Limit.

Graham Sigsworths Skye Trip 2016. Friday 24th June 2016. June 24, 2016. July 17, 2016. The day started with low cloud, mist and drizzle, so we headed for Portree and the weather there was beautiful with a warm sunny day. We walked from Portree to the point which is North of the town. Along the path we saw Ravens, Common Buzzard. Local boats now take tourists every 2 hours to the point and beyond to see the Sea Eagles. And 6 Common Scoter. And the end of a lovely holiday.
