Lightning Thief, Ch 17-22. October 15, 2011 by brookehowerton. I brought you down here to say good-bye. You will be betrayed by one who calls you a friend. I knew there was a whole series about Percy Jackson. So upon completion of chapter 22, it made me wonder what the second book of the series had to hold. What other events could Percy possibly encounter? As I stated in previous post, I was skepti.

I feel so bad for Percy. He has seen firsthand that many prefer forces of evil rather than good. This is the world that he is fighting for; I would be depressed too. Throughout this journey many have tried to persuade him to come over to the evil side and be all-powerful. How many more times must Percy make the choice between good and evil? For the first time at camp, I felt truly alone. I looked out at Long Island Sound and I remembered my father saying,. The seas does not like to be restrained. I wondered, if Poseidon were watching, would he approve of my choice? I am left wondering what this year will be like for Percy? Will he be able to live his live normally, or at least semi-normally?
