Sunday, October 4, 2015. So, way back in early summer we went on our first overnight of the year. We went up to Sawtooth Lake in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The hike itself is fairly short, but moderately difficult. Just about 5 miles, and a fair amount of elevation gain. The lake, worth every step. The hike up is gorgeous, and it was so hot! We kept our packs really light because we were only staying one night. But still, sweat was pouring. From our camping spot, we climbed do.

The site had the following in the homepage, "4th of July and other updates." I noticed that the web site stated " We took a quick weekend trip out to visit Matts family over 4th of July." They also stated " It was so nice to spend some time with them and see them one more time before we head to Germany. Matts mom threw us a surprise baby shower while we were there. Its was nice to see extended family and friends we dont get to see too often. They spoiled us with gifts for the baby. We are so appreciative and grateful for that!
