I was gratified to be able to answer promptly, and I did. Saturday, April 26, 2014. This last year has flown by. I will be finishing service within a month and I am trying to process my emotions. So I stayed in this dark place for months upon my return. And being ill made it worse. Now you know why this story is called Happy.
Tuesday, May 7, 2013. I just wanted to give a status update. Things are going well here. I am nearing the end of my service. Yesterday marked the 60 day countdown. I am looking forward to going home. That said, I still have a project to finish.

I noticed that the web site stated " I didnt expect to stay here, but here I am, and for a second night." They also stated " I want to go to Istanbul, but I need a ticket. I want to see my mom and brother, but here I am alone. I want to cry but Im too frustrated. Then the turbulent flight to the city of lights. Oh, there was lightning and thunder!
