Khon Kaen is a small town four hours out of Lom Sak, the place we love to call home, that we often frequent. The Festival was a clear success all round, culminating in an invition to our new Thai friends mums house for Sunday lunch.

The week before Christmas in Thailand. Back in England most schools would have done their carol services and nativity plays and broken up for Christmas holidays, but in Thailand they do not celebrate Christmas. But surprisingly they do a beautiful job with decorating most shopping malls with Christmas decorations, especially at MBK, National Stadium and at Siam Paragon in Bangkok.

Koh Phi Phi is my favorite place in Thailand. With its legendary panoramic viewpoint, paradisiacal beaches, pristine water, impressive sunsets, chilled reggae atmosphere and classic Thai beach parties, for me, it is the epitome of Thailand. Nothing beats a Thailand sunset.
