Sun 21 Sep CalaisDover Ferry. We eventually hauled out of Ghent after a very pleasant two days there and made our way to Calais without motorways. As last evening was our last of the holiday, it was a good excuse to have a good meal as though an excuse is necessary at all and we both enjoyed a very good Tournedos with pommes frites.
